it's been 5 days since my last post and i realise i don't really post on weekdays.. today's an exception because it's national day eve!
singapore is going to be 43 years old tomorrow!
ok, i haven't found anything much interesting to blog about this week.. had my chemistry mock prelim on
wednesday afternoon.. should be pure
ownage (hoping for at least 60/80 =] ).. then
thursday was a super tiring day as i always say.. reached
pasir ris but it rained so so so heavily till i was stranded at 7-11.. -.- the rain was one of the heaviest
i've ever seen so far (an effect of global warming?).. ah, finally about today.. today was national day celebration in school.. the parade was so
noob-.- (
ok la, but i admire those people for their courage)..
loke was like wrapped in a table cloth and looked as if she had got no money to buy more decent clothes.. headed for the concert in the hall promptly.. the first performance was by
ARCANESOUNDS! it's a new local band formed in
june last year.. they're not bad.. i love the progressive sounds of the electric guitar especially.. then there were some videos in between here and there until i can't really recall what exactly was the program.. but one more highlight of this concert was
bryan's singing together with
mahadir play the guitar.. i was kind of freaked out at first because i really didn't know
bryan could sing so so damn well.. no, that's no sarcasm here, i really meant it.. i didn't mind him having an encore seriously speaking..
hmm.. after that i can't recall what happened but as usual, there was a sing-along-session but a group of my classmates and i ended up playing 'tau-
pok'.. it was dam fun!
hahaha.. the concert ended at around 10am..
sportsman appreciation ceremony was next and finally, the year 2s have officially stepped down with great honours.. it was fun watching all the videos that all the
pdp(s) have made.. to think of it,
i've actually completed my 2 seasons in
tjc.. time really flies.. hoping all the best for my juniors also and that includes
hui san,
shan min,
clara, ruby (girls),
wei yang,
chee siang, sin
lek, big
sam,
dave, mu ye,
xuan zheng,
denie,
tian yu,
gabriel,
david and
joel (guys)..
the ceremony ended at 12+pm.. supposed to meet up with my brothers but apparently they couldn't make it and i didn't even bother to find out where my class was going (i doubt they will be going anywhere).. of course i do have other friends but they were all going out wit their classes, going out with them is like so extra.. in the end, my destination was home-.- felt
abit low at first because i really hate being alone, especially on days that you could actually go out with your best friends and have fun.. went to the arcade and chill.. man, it was crowded at white sands, imagine how e!hub will be.. played my first game 709.. not as good probably due to the crowd behind me.. it was pressurising

haha.. more people came when i played my second and i scored 726.. went to sit down to rest awhile until an auntie came to ask me to join her to play together.. i had mixed reactions when she approached me.. first it was, 'huh? you got play this machine
de ah?' and later 'me? my double play sucks, you really want to partner me?' but it was more of the later one.. she was really dam
zai! she competed in 2006 arcade competition and actually got second! oh my.. and so we teamed up.. first game she sponsored, 752.. not bad for me in a double play because it requires
synchronisation.. i suck at that because
i've never practice much of that before and that last time i had a double play was with
si ying and we actually scored only 330+.. second game, i offered to sponsor this one.. we did better 805.. everyone behind got their jaws dropped but the auntie told me we should have gotten 900+ instead for a double play..
haha.. super
ps, i think it was partly my fault because
i've never played a doubles for ages! luckily, the auntie was encouraging and she guided me throughout.. she was actually playing to my tempo most of the time even though i did try to follow hers.. she was really
zai..
haha..
i'm saying that one more time.. i hope she will come again though.. anyway, played one more game solo and left.. got home with lunch and kept slacking.. tons of homework are piled up in front of me and there's another few tons of revision awaiting me too.. i just hope to clear them all as soon as possible..
i'll try my best but hey let's enjoy national day tomorrow first!
