today was ns medical checkup day so i wasnt in school for the entire day.. dad fetched me to tiong bahru mrt today at 7.30 am where i was supposed to meet up wif sam chye and tk 195 to CMPB.. we could haf reached very early but we ended up like fools walking nearly the whole of depot road cos' there wasn't a single sign that said CMPB at all.. so we asked ard and finally got an answer - CMPB was actually inside the def tech towers.. dam.. we shd haf gotten off at the first stop when the bus turned in to depot road but we got off at the 5th one instead.. heng the weather wasnt dat bad and we jus kept walking our way thru to CMPB..
the checkup experience was quite fun in a sense, a new experience to me.. haha.. there were all together 7 stations.. the first one was the urine and blood test.. got to pee on some special paper and had a full syringe of blood taken out aft dat.. the blood test was somewhat scary but wasnt as pain as anticipated.. phew.. station 2 was the hearing test.. a beep sound will be played and u raise ur respective hand upon listening to the sound with your left or right ear.. quite lame and easy.. 2 mins and i was out of there le.. the third was eye test.. i mus admit the eye checks abit unreliable de leh.. first they tested for colour blindness by reading the numbers which i breezed thru wif great ease, and then ltr i was supposed to read out the smallest letters at the last line from a certain distance.. i knew my left eye wasnt perfect anymore but i was asked to cover my left eye first, so i read out the letters wif my right eye.. but 6/7 letters onli, when i covered my right eye, i cld like still haf an idea of what the letters were and jus read out but in fact, i cldnt see them quite clearly.. within 5 mins, this station was over.. station 4 was the dental checkup.. nth much to say and it was very fast to clear this one.. the 5th station was the x-ray test, had to be half naked and facing this machine while holding on to ur breath so that the machine can haf pic of ur lungs.. this was quickly cleared cos' the scan was realli fast and i was the first one to do it.. the next station wld b what everyone will be discussing abt becos u nid to show ur er-hem.. but that wasnt the first thing they told u to do.. first u had to get half naked and barefooted b4 proceeding to the ecg room for an ecg test.. ltr was the measuring of height, weight and blood pressure.. now here's the part everyone's waiting for.. the last part was the consultation of the doctor, it was there then u er-hem.. but nth much also, it was a quick process.. tada! i was done for the physical part of the medical checkup and now left wif the mental part.. ended up wif a pes B.. lolx.. i tot it was a BP? heck la.. haha.. and finally the last station, station 7.. this station tests ur mental abilities through a huge variety of questions.. there were so many tests till i cldnt rmb what the questions were and how many were there.. all i noe was that i spent more than hr or so jus clicking on that com.. that was mentally draining i mus say but i still managed to complete them nevertheless.. headed out to the main counter and was cleared to leave CMPB cos the checkup had ended.. however, sam chye was stuck somewhere in the middle of the first 6 stations and was delayed throughout so i ended up waiting for him more than half an hr outside and we left CMPB promptly.. kindda shagged aft evrything was over..
while i was on the train, i kept thinking of going out but dunno where to and also wif who.. i called aloy and found out the class was going nowhere.. i called si ying and found out that all my 3 'daughters' had things on.. sam chye obviously had to meet wynne and cldnt go out.. called zhi hao also but he was going to play LAN wif his classmates.. gave it a miss cos LAN wasnt meant for me.. dam sian.. felt so so so low.. i ended up at home.. wth.. dats so pathetic.. and to think of it, it may seem i may haf alot of frens in sch but when it comes to frens that u can go out wif, i dun realli haf lots of them.. when ur clique isnt there and ur gd frens in sec sch also cant make it, i don't think i can find any other one to go out and haf fun.. and the result - it sux.. i hate this feeling.. why is this happening? argh! dammit.. oh well, maybe it's jus me..
